What is the difference between FBA and oversea warehouse?

FBA doesn’t provide sellers customs clearance service. However, overseas warehouse provides sellers not only customs clearance service, but also delivery to warehouse service.

Amazon supports buyers to return for no reasons but returned product will not be sold again even if there is no problem. In overseas warehouses, returned products can be checked and sold again after labeling that save sellers cost a lot.

Warehouse costs are the most concerned topic for sellers. Amazon warehouses have relatively higher storage fees, operation fees, and outbound fees for large and heavy products, so this type of product is more suitable for overseas warehouses. For small products, fast turnover, and high-quality products, you can choose to store them in the FBA warehouse.

Amazon has strict inventory restrictions during the off-season. The inventory capacity limitation caused by the non-compliance of the standard and the total inventory limit of a store may prevent sellers from stocking a lot of goods in the FBA warehouse. Once the inventory cannot keep up with sales in high season, there will be a risk of out of stock. Overseas warehouses do not have such restrictions. Also, they provide value-added service to change carton labels that meet the requirements of the FBA warehouse and send products to the FBA warehouse.
